19:35:37 <Halcyon> Steve: My experience with Cisco was from years ago. Basically IOS was quite cumbersome. The main thing I hated was there were differences between IOS versions. Commands/configs from one version, didn't necessarily work in another. Also, you could type the same sequence of commands several times and it will fail until the last attempt, then it would work.

It recognised my WaveLAN PCMCIA card but that doesn't do WPA2 which is needed to connect to the WLAN. It kinda-sorta recognised a Linksys card but didn't work with it. It was fine with a 10/100 ethernet card though.
