07:18:20 <Ysjoelfir> be careful with the rectifier tube. if it is a WW2 tube they can be very fragile. the rectifier in the DKE38 are actually very rare since they died pretty quickly because of a misdesign

07:18:20 <Ysjoelfir> it's actually older than the radio. the DKE38 was designed in ... well, 1938, but the guy building it basically copied one of his own very old designs from the mid to late 1920s
