17:24 <Yuugi> In Basic, there are two rules for finding traps: any player character class has a 1 in 6 chance (dwarves get 2 in 6) of finding a trap. Thieves, however, seem to only get a 10% chance to find a trap.
17:47 <Yuugi> In various places in the rulebook there are also conflicting accounts of whether or not the thief is actually the only one able to find traps or not.
18:45 <Yuugi> There's also a weird thing with the Sleep spell. In the spell description it says that it doesn't count any pluses to the hit die (such as a Lizard man's 2 + 1 hit dice, only the 2 is counted for the purposes of the spell)
19:16 <Yuugi> But then, in the combat example, a sleep spell is cast at hobgoblins who have 1 + 1 hit dice and it's suddenly treated as 2 for the purposes of the spell.
