17:45:06 <Avatar> who wants some interesting news
17:46:54 <Avatar> I am coming from Pathfinder Online, where I am somewhat a key member of the community, and one of only a hundred-or-so Alpha backers (I've spent more than $1600 on that game, I believe... actually, probably a bit more). My alpha account alone was $1000 from its kickstarter, plus my wife's account, add-ons, etc. And yet, the game is failing badly right now. The CEO left, they fired all but 3 devs,
17:46:54 <Avatar> and they are hemorrhaging players. A "few" dedicated players are sticking around, and Paizo is in talks with a few potential investors and/or new development companies that would hopefully swoop in and finish the game. But it's not looking very promising. If it does succeed, finds funding or whatnot, these events will still push them back years.

20:31:38 <Avatar> I don't understand how pathfinder online is taking subscription fees for an unfinished game
20:31:41 <Avatar> from backers!
20:31:55 <Avatar> I guess they might not be backers actually
21:03:31 <Mekkis> Is the sleuth archetype of the investigator really weak?
21:03:44 <Mekkis> it seems something that Avatar would take
21:47:33 <Avatar> mate
21:55:21 <Mekkis> mate
21:58:36 <Avatar> okay it actually does look like something I'd take!
21:59:10 <Avatar> that was a good pick mekkis
22:13:57 <Mekkis> I know
22:14:46 <Mekkis> It's also a class that you'd take, play for a few levels, then wonder why you keep going down

23:49:20 <Mekkis> !item mnemonic vestment
23:49:24 <diebot> Mekkis, MNEMONIC VESTMENT [strong transmutation] CL:17 body 5000gp, 1lb
23:49:25 <diebot> The surface of this delicate-looking blue silk robe is adorned with tiny embossed runes across its entire surface. If the wearer is a spontaneous caster, once per day she may use a spell slot to cast a spell from a written source (such as a scroll or spellbook) as if she knew that spell. The spell must be on her spell list, the same spell level or
23:49:25 <diebot> lower than the expended spell slot, and the same type of spell (arcane or divine) as the spell slot expended. The caster must also understand the written source (such as using Decipher Script or read magic) and be carrying it. Activating the robe is not an action, but casting the spell otherwise works as normal, including casting time, providing
23:49:25 <diebot> components or foci, and so on. Using a mnemonic vestment's properties does not consume the written source. Source: Ultimate Equipment
23:57:05 <Mekkis> !spell Path Of The Winds
23:57:07 <diebot> Mekkis, PATH OF THE WINDS evocation ([air]) druid 6, sorcerer/wizard 6 1 standard action Range: 100 ft. Comp: V, S, Duration: concentration + 1 round Save: Fortitude negates SR:yesSource: Advanced Race Guide
23:57:08 <diebot> With a sweeping gesture, you call forth mighty winds to clear a path ahead of you. The winds are the equivalent of a windstorm (Core Rulebook 439). During the first round of the spell, the winds sweep the designated area clear of anything of Small or smaller size, blowing it outward to the sides of the spell's effect (50% chance of landing on
23:57:08 <diebot> either side). You may move within the effect without penalty, though all other creatures are subject to the wind's effects. On the second and all later rounds of the spell, the edges of the effect are treated as a wind wall. If the effect includes a body of water or other liquid, the winds create a channel up to 40 feet deep into the surface of the
23:57:08 <diebot> liquid. On your turn as a move action, you can move the effect of this spell, either rotating it at one of its ends up to 45 degrees, or moving it up to 50 feet in line with its current orientation (toward you or away from you).
