10:21:11 <Halcyon> Hard to tell without looking at it, sounds like a bad application causing issues or something is corrupt. Since it's booting, it doesn't suggest hardware to me. After he gets the photos off, a factory reset might fix it.

10:24:10 <Halcyon> You could also check to see if there is a "safe mode" that you can boot into for that particular phone. Most of the Android's will boot into a mode where no third party applications are launched. It might give them enough access to be able to control the phone
