08:34:47 <Ampera> I don't know if the heat produced by resistive heating elements is on a linear scale relative to voltage, or anywhere close, but that would, in my mind, be the question you'd have to look for.
08:35:43 <Ampera> I'd imagine it is, because the energy has to go somewhere, so it's possible a 24v heater on 18v just produces 9/12ths the heat, but I'm not completely sure.

08:41:43 <Ampera> or virtualize. I just got sick of WIndows' shit, and even though I have some programs I don't have Linux replacements for, like Fusion 360, I'm quite happy with being moved completely onto Linux.
