05:56:00 <Blockah> I installed virtualbox onto the ram disk, fired it up, launched puppy linux which copies into RAM

05:57:00 <gee_man> vmware player free is a game changer when it comes to comparing speeds to virtualbox
05:58:00 <gee_man> also, i was going to run a windows vm on a windows host, which a ramdisk would definitely speed things up
05:58:00 <Blockah> I've heard the ramdisk even though it is 6 times faster than a good ssd, the cpu becomes the bottleneck
