It might become neccessary for her to provide a better living space for the child than her ex-but-still-husband, which I would love to support that way.

Did you ever experience any problems with such an setup, eg the PSUs emitting some sort of noise into the instruments standing onto them? before I now connect all that and wonder where some strange switching patterns originate from in my otherwise clean signal, or whatever..
