22:49:33 <rc-garage> I find I use the drill chuck for the tailstock quite a bit. also a live center, not a dead one. but, if you want some small things to make yourself, maybe think about an adjustable depth stop thing, that you can put in the headstock, so you just put your work up against that, and know it is xx length in there. and some copper or brass or even aluminum shim things, you can hang on the chuck jaws, for holding more delicate parts
