04:37:39 <arch> also check the mosfet drain-source using continuity test. most likely the psu is a flyback mode. could be a fried mosfet
04:41:22 <arch> if you have a current limited psu, you could set the psu to 30V, 0.5A current limited. pop in a new fuse, plug in the lab psu, and see which component is getting hot. you can pour some alcohol to see where it evaporates from, or you can use your lips to feel the heat rising (not recommended)
