13:52:58 <MrMobodies> I see fast food burgers, fries, Trump when I hear it
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> What's wrong with your printer?
13:52:58 <steve30> the wiper blade which wipes the drum clean tends to deform slightly after a few years
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> so it needs a new part
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> expensive?
13:52:58 <steve30> well, last time i got a part for a different model and modified it to fit
13:52:58 <steve30> it was cheap enough
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> I have an old 400 series 15, rollers need cleaning or replacing
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> brought in 2003 for a couple of thousand and it was given to me in 2019
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> it is off at the moment
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> massive big thing in the corner
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> needs a new fans and the plastic is cracking
13:52:58 <steve30> my HP is a laserjet 4m+ from about 1995
13:52:58 <steve30> hehe, my Canon IP4000 will be two decades old soon

13:52:58 <MrMobodies> I remember seeing one that looked like that but it was black and white
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> at a Bathroom Warehouse business over ten years ago
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> I think it was on the accountants side of the office
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> along with the Xerox gave absolutely no problems
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> there was a printer I refused to work on and it was this Samsng ML50? I think
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> actually no it was htis one

13:52:58 <MrMobodies> 3 different places where they had these
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> and the paper kept on jamming up inside
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> someone brought this "world smallest" Samsung Laserjet but what they don't say was that it was the world's slowest and the cartridges were like £60 for these small round things.
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> I consider one of the worst printers I have come across
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> the problem was they were getting ink cartridges cheap at this Bathroom warehouse. At this college they'd use genuine cartridges
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> so it wasn't the cartridges causing the paper to jam
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> mains flickr ONCE just now all four my ups tripped
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> When it went out of business and I was helping them sell stuff from this disused chicken barn in 2018
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> the owner offered it to me... I told him you have to be joking.
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> the amount of time i spent on those thing trying to get the paper out when the jam
13:52:58 <MrMobodies> this one was made for the scrap yard when they got it in new in 2011
13:52:58 <steve30> i have pondered getting a modern 24 pin printer
