08:02:00 <electrohead> hey there
08:11:00 <gry> may need to move places due to a rent increase, the other place has windows looking at one side (west)
08:11:00 <gry> sorry, i mean east, not west
08:48:00 <electrohead> lol
14:54:00 <gry> haha
21:01:00 <Zade> ta
21:53:00 <gry> how do you remove cockroaches in a pet friendly way
21:54:00 <gry> locations: under kitchen sink, hot water heater, cooking oven, fridge
21:54:00 <gry> carpet is involved so "just pest bomb and then do a wet clean" is not an option
21:57:00 <TwistedBlister42> i squish them i hate roaches lol
21:59:00 <gry> my mum too, been doing for years
21:59:00 <gry> ineffective though
22:00:00 <gry> i mean they multiply more quickly
22:00:00 <gry> and they live in narrow spaces which are hard to get to
22:00:00 <gry> water heater and oven - i dont want to move them as i am not qualified to unplug them
22:00:00 <TwistedBlister42> have you tried roach bait
22:00:00 <gry> fridge - can move but not deassemble
22:01:00 <TwistedBlister42> mortein roach bat
22:01:00 <gry> bait - about 20% effective
22:01:00 <TwistedBlister42> bait you just slide under the fridge
22:01:00 <gry> gel - about 95%
22:01:00 <TwistedBlister42> hm
22:01:00 <gry> after using gel they come back a few weeks later though
22:02:00 <gry> kitchen water attracts them - in sink, under sink, dish dryer, condensation on fridge
22:02:00 <TwistedBlister42> pest control might be the only way
22:02:00 <gry> these things are just eternal unless i move out for 5 years and ensure nobody uses appliances while i am away
22:02:00 <TwistedBlister42> i live in a 3 br house which has the same thing but i deal with the huntsman spiders
22:03:00 <TwistedBlister42> my other pest control just stares at them
22:03:00 <TwistedBlister42> thanks cat
22:05:00 <gry> pest person send me these names of chemicals, are they pet friendly?Seclira or Tembrid75
22:06:00 <gry> does your cat eat huntsman spiders? they are not venomous at least
22:07:00 <gry> maybe ask your pest control what he would do with cockroaches if puppy and carpets are involved
22:07:00 <gry> we could compare the answers
22:07:00 <TwistedBlister42> nah she is just as chicken as me lol
22:07:00 <TwistedBlister42> i run when i see spider she runs too
22:07:00 <gry> ah i see, you have two pets now
22:07:00 <gry> huntsmen are ok to handle
22:08:00 <gry> they aren't venomous, or aggressive
22:08:00 <gry> doesn't mean they must stay in your home
22:08:00 <gry> but they are okay to touch
22:10:00 <TwistedBlister42> yeah the other cat loves to sit here and bug me for food
22:10:00 <TwistedBlister42> so shes useless
22:29:00 <gry> our puppy does the same
