01:22:41 <skeme> i need my bot to register nicks to take a vote if someone comes up with a good lyric in the chan, number of registered ppl must be over 2, score between one and ten, if the average of that score is above 7, the bot will then record the person's submitted 'line' into the .txt file where lyrics are kept.
01:23:02 <skeme> would that be hard? too tired to rip code from similiar snippets
01:24:40 <skeme> bot already makes verses from the .txt file, using random lines, each from real songs.
01:24:51 <skeme> anyone keen to help?
01:49:17 <Dodge> you'd need to sort them yourself. the lines of lyrics
01:49:47 <skeme> i could I just thought on the side it would be a way to get people involved
01:50:21 <skeme> but yeah I think i'll scrap that and put them in myself
01:50:30 <skeme> it just seems like it needs more to it
01:50:44 <Dodge> I'll think on it
01:51:01 <Dodge> ideas are what count
01:51:30 <skeme> i tried to get narrator to say what mosely spat out
01:51:32 <skeme> haha
01:51:53 <skeme> but it just started reading fromt he top
01:52:03 <Dodge> you can save and read them back
01:52:15 <Dodge> yupp. making an ordered list is harder
01:52:26 <Dodge> specially if it isn't sorted first
01:52:37 <Dodge> you can sort as you go in the bot
01:52:37 <skeme> i'll start recording each line soon
01:52:41 <skeme> save each one as a wav
01:52:52 <Dodge> would be like add then paste
01:53:00 <skeme> but it would be nice to trigger a beat
01:53:11 <Dodge> yepp
01:53:18 <skeme> which continued throughout until triggered off
01:53:27 <skeme> i think the wav's will need echo
01:53:34 <Dodge> you could host a small drum machine
01:54:05 <Dodge> ppl could download that with the beats already in it
01:54:11 <skeme> i need to also, determine the number of lines u want spat in the verse too
01:54:17 <Dodge> that way everyone is on the same beat for a start
01:54:36 <skeme> yeah.., @ could trigger the beat
01:55:11 <skeme> i wonder if i could use morphvox after the wav's have been recorded, to effect the output
01:55:18 <skeme> ahh no need
01:55:32 <Dodge> that will only work on one computer
01:55:33 <skeme> i will need different voices though or it will get boring real quick
01:55:44 <Dodge> otherwise ppl would need the software on theirs
01:55:48 <skeme> yeah..
01:55:51 <Dodge> find an online drum machine
01:56:04 <Dodge> hosting shit is best
01:56:18 <Dodge> if it's already there even better
01:56:32 <Dodge> mixmeister
01:56:50 <skeme> i've got all weekend
01:57:00 <skeme> but thanks for the input
01:57:22 <skeme> if u want to help feel free
01:57:23 <Dodge> currently surfing http://www.mixmeister.com/download_freestuff.html
01:57:52 <Dodge> no no wrong thing
01:57:56 <Dodge> my bad
01:58:25 <skeme> i'm not about to decompile the mirc source though and put it all into one downloadable package
01:58:43 <Dodge> currently surfing http://www.rinki.net/pekka/monkey/
01:58:48 <skeme> but nobody would get that anyway
01:58:49 <Dodge> try that one
01:59:02 <Dodge> every computer can record
02:00:49 <Dodge> thats neat. pretty laggy though
02:01:03 <Dodge> right idea. thats like fruity loops
02:01:15 <Dodge> that was a laggy piece of shit as well
02:01:52 <Dodge> it's more glitchy now than laggy. glitchy errors make bubbles and pops
02:02:01 <Dodge> sounds
02:06:50 <skeme> yeah that's pretty easy
02:07:23 <skeme> i can see the evolution of this
02:07:28 <skeme> should be fun

13:23:00 <Dodge> this is the 7.1
13:23:34 <Dodge> mdx is no use either I've noticed
13:23:46 <Dodge> so, thrash dcx I suppose
13:24:32 <Dodge> a few other things as well
13:24:58 <Dodge> I'll put my finger on them sooner or later
13:26:44 <Dodge> I've got a good mate called long
13:26:54 <Dodge> long ty is his name
13:27:21 <Dodge> we call him longa, longie long ect
13:27:56 <Dodge> he's not you. I know that
13:29:59 <Dodge> anyone use dcx ?
13:30:46 <Dodge> or have the dcx.dll in their $scriptdir
13:31:08 <Dodge> or somewhere
13:41:25 <Longie> no :P
13:41:46 <Dodge> pity. I have a nice script to colour all menus
13:43:55 <Dodge> and I don't believe there is another way to do it with the latest mirc
13:44:47 <Dodge> do you use mirc
13:46:32 <Longie> I do
13:47:02 <Dodge> do you have coloured menus
13:47:14 <Longie> nah man, colours annoyme
13:47:17 <Longie> well not really
13:47:23 <Dodge> k. I can understand that
13:47:43 <Dodge> so your black on red or some theme like that
13:47:48 <Dodge> red on black
13:47:58 <Longie> black on red?
13:48:04 <Longie> imn just using default mIRC
13:48:10 <Longie> couple of scripts I made
13:48:12 <Longie> but nothing fnacy
13:48:14 <Longie> fancy
13:48:18 <Dodge> cool
13:48:39 <Dodge> this could fancy it up with little effort
13:48:51 <Longie> haha, I don't need fancy, thanks anyway
13:48:57 <Dodge> k
13:49:06 <Dodge> my rude really
13:49:11 <Longie> not at all
13:49:51 <Dodge> I appreciate a good script. and it's an awsome small simple script
13:50:03 <Dodge> ima leave it here
13:50:08 <Longie> haha ok
13:50:17 <Longie> I appreciate them to, I just don't have to use ones I appreciate
13:53:28 <Dodge> I have a plain one with 2 scripts in it
13:54:28 <Dodge> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1080755/MenuColour.txt
13:54:48 <Longie> got a screenie?
13:54:51 <Dodge> I left the dcx in, it could have been heaps smaller
13:55:58 <Dodge> -cmd .run paint.exe
13:56:09 <Dodge> that works great lol
13:56:46 <Dodge> na. thought so. I need a dedicated screenshot taker to get a shot of the menu
13:57:38 <Dodge> oh no lol
13:57:45 <Dodge> ahh yeah.
13:57:58 <Dodge> I can do it from the bot but it still won't grab the menu
13:58:11 <Dodge> I have capture a ss somewhere
13:58:24 <Dodge> or older ones on www.photobucket.com
21:14:00 <Dodge> you made me learn it's hard to take a ss of a menu Longie
21:14:25 <Dodge> you can see the menu in this. but it's
21:14:32 <Dodge> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1080755/MenuColour.jpg
21:14:46 <Dodge> I could probably do it that way with natural light
