17:08:00 <linying> OK... assuming that you're going to use an existing telephone, you will need to connect, via say... 0.1uF capacitors, a circuit to convert the incoming AC signal applied to the bell, to DC, which can then be used to drive a simple amplifier (darlington transistor), which can then be used to control the operation of a relay.
