17:13:00 <supermum> the beach was very flat, so I'd have had to go out quite a way to be in enough to swim or surf
17:13:00 <supermum> so I just paddled in the edge of the waves in shorts and bare feet

17:31:00 <supermum> We'll be back home in less than 2 weeks now - we fly to Vancouver one week and 30 minutes from now!!!!!
