What is LoveOP ?
LoveOP is a fun service that allows AustNet users to send their online partner something special such as flowers, a kiss, or even an anonymous admire. It also allows online couples to become an official "netcouple" or even get irc-married.

Who can use LoveOP?
Anyone with a registered nickname can use LoveOP. You must be identified and using your registered nickname to use LoveOP.

Someone sent me a secret admire - how can I tell who it is?
You can't! The admire is completely secret. It's a cute way to send an anonymous message to let that special someone know that someone likes them.

What are some of the things I can do with LoveOP?
LoveOP can be used for anything from sending cute virtual flowers, candy, hugs and kisses, to getting "netcoupled" or even netmarried on IRC. For full information, type

Some of the more common commands are:
Secret admire - sends an anonymous admire to the person:
/msg loveop admire nickname
Sending virtual candy:
/msg loveop candy nickname
Sending a virtual flower. The types are daisy, pinkrose, redrose, sunflower and whiterose.
/msg loveop flower nickname type
Sends virtual chocolates
/msg loveop chocolate nickname
Send a virtual kiss (ooh la la!)
The types are butterfly, nip and surprise.
/msg loveop smooch nickname type
Become a netcouple through loveop. If you would like to become a couple with that special someone, make sure their nickname is registered, then type
/msg loveop netcouple add nickname1 nickname2
Both people must be online at the time. If the netcouple is not confirmed within 15 minutes, it will expire.

How do I get netmarried using LoveOP?
Cyber couples can get netmarried using LoveOP in #chapel, with the help of a netpriest who has access to LoveOP. They must be netcouples first, then book a wedding (more details on the right).

How do I get net-divorced?
It's a lot simpler than in real life! Simply type:
/msg loveop netcouple del nickname1 nickname2

What if someone is annoying me with LoveOP?
If someone is continually sending you loveop messages and you want this to stop, you can use LoveOP's block command:
/msg loveop block add nickname!*@* or
/msg loveop block add maskhere

Who can netmarry people?
Netpriests can netmarry netcouples, in #chapel. All those people with access in #chapel have netpriest status. These people also have access of 150 or more in #loveop. To find a netpriest you can also do /msg asd listadmin -online
Any ASD helper with access of 50 or higher can do weddings.

How can I help people with LoveOP?
You are welcome to learn more about LoveOP and then help in the loveop channel - #LoveOP. People who are especially helpful in #LoveOP are added to the access list at level 100. New netpriests are usually chosen from these ops.

Online couples who wish to take their love one step further can be "netmarried" in #chapel on AustNet.

There are a few steps to getting netmarried.

Become a netcouple
Make sure the other person is online, and their nickname is registered, then type
/msg loveop netcouple add nick1 nick2
The other person will be notified of your request and will have to confirm the request. If they don't confirm, the request will expire after 15 minutes.
Netcouples can be seen by typing
/msg loveop netcouple list couple

Get net-engaged
After some time, you may wish to become net-engaged. To do this, type:
/msg loveop book nick1 nick2
LoveOP will send you a note, and the other person a note as well. The netpriests with access in #LoveOP will also get a note. You can contact a priest in #loveop or #asd when you are ready to get netmarried.
Engaged couples can be seen by the command
/msg loveop netcouple list engaged

Get net-married
The netpriest will lead you through the steps of being netmarried in #chapel. Once you are netmarried, you will appear on the married netcouple list:
/msg loveop netcouple list married.
