Webmaster was one of the founding servers of Austnet (along with Wantree, Firstlink, Wizard, Pacific.sg and some others). Wantree was merged with iiNet in 1999, and Austnet still has an iiNet server. The Pacific.sg server is also still serving users on Austnet.

Eerie* is located in Petersburg, Michigan. The machine is a IBM pIII 667 with 256 rambus memory and a 30 Gb HD.
It was linked to AustNet in August 2000.
