Yoyo* is Australia's longest running IRC server. Before it was linked to AustNet, it was part of EfNet before the split, and then part of IRCNet. It has now been linked to AustNet for 2 years.

Yoyo's hardware and bandwidth is kindly provided by Monash University's IT Services Department. It is maintained by a select group of students and staff. The hardware on Yoyo* is 6 years old at least and is scheduled for an upgrade. It runs on a DEC Alpha 233 mHz processor.

Spin* has been linked for about 9 months. The Spin server is sponsored by Spin Internet, which was established in 1996. It's services include adsl, dialup, and webhosting.

The first Netspace server was assembled from spare parts. The new one is much better. This server is hosted by Netspace's Data Centre in Camberwell, Victoria. The admin, Otoole, is a nice guy who worked with Netspace for 3 yrs, moved on 14 months ago but has continued as the admin for the Netspace server.
