AUSTnet has worked hard to bring you the best of everything in the IRC world. We have designed from scratch 4 services to help with Network, nick, channel, and contact management. This page concentrates on ChanOp, the services which allows a user to register a channel and not have the worries of takeovers. ChanOp was designed as a guardian of type to keep a channel safe from takeovers, as well as providing a resource for the channel founder to give ops to his or her friends and others of the sort. As an AUSTnet user, you are only permitted to register one channel at a time. ChanOp does not allow channels such as warez or any type of porn to be registered, this is because we want to keep the network free of such things.
